Dr. Allen went to the University of Missouri-Columbia as a biology major and then to medical school to become a family physician in the rural Midwest and spent two years in Alaska. She has tried to treat the whole person, body, mind, and soul as holistic care. They all affect each other as we go through life and sometimes one part needs more care than another at any given moment. She’s a firm believer that people feel better when they laugh! Her interest is helping people achieve their blood pressure and diabetes goals so they can feel good and stay as healthy as possible.
