Biography
Dr. Daphne Thomas Kasperek, MD, FACEP, is a board -certified emergency physician who has practiced emergency medicine for the last 26 years. In 2001, Dr. Kasperek co-founded an Emergency Physician practice. For over 25 years the practice flourished, expanding the business to eventually have contracts with 5 emergency facilities in northern Virginia. Dr. Kasperek graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Chemistry from Oral Roberts University in 1986. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Medical College of Ohio (now University of Toledo Medical School) in 1991. Her internship was at Georgetown University Medical Center in 1992, followed by residency in Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins University Hospitals in 1995.
